About Us

Three Cranes Gallery began over 30 years ago, with something as simple as friendship bracelets. Bought in bulk and sold at festivals and to local shops, they became a big hit. As demand grew, the need for larger quantities also grew and that’s when our quest began - Where do they come from? Can we get them directly from the source? Can we create our own original designs?

That quest for the best led us to the mountains of Guatemala where our bracelets had originated. There we learned, that love and respect when working with gifted artisans, brought forth wonderful things: like lifetime friendships and the finest handcrafted products possible. Since those early days we have maintained that same way of working. Then as now, all of the artisans that handcraft all of our products world-wide, work directly and exclusively for Three Cranes Gallery.

As the range of our offerings grew, we saw the need to maintain rhythm and flow throughout the process in order to keep prices down, so we started our own direct importing company - One Of A Kind Importing.

So there we were, successfully importing & selling our hand crafted goods to many shops, but - we yearned to be back face to face with people - so we opened our own retail store - Three Cranes Gallery, in a 200 year old building in quaint and historic New Hope, Bucks County, PA.

There have been lots of changes over the years, but our quest has not changed . . .
